You Don't Buy a Mercedes So You Can Quit Changing Oil, Do You?

The Henry Company sells inexpensive vacuums for those just looking to get something to do a decent job for a few years, and we also sell high-end, top-quality floor care equipment for those who really consider home hygiene a top priority, and live by the principle that if you buy good equipment, it lasts longer, works better and you save money in the long run.

Having said that, you still have to take care of it! If you think you can throw more money at something so you'll never have to do any maintenance on it, you're misguided (or something).

If you have pets and / or long haired people in the house, you should buy something that's better suited for this (hint - almost NEVER a vacuum that is allegedly for pets, or vaguely named "The Animal", since they always have meltable plastic brush rolls in them!), but regardless, plan on cutting wound-up hair off the brush, removing hair out from under the brush bearings, etc.

Conversely, a very cheap vacuum can suffice if the user does what needs to be done based on it's usage & environment.

So in summary, a semi-wise man just thought of this saying: "A well-maintained Ford Pinto will outlast a neglected BMW".
